It lets you access files that are already being used by another person or program within the same system.

Sometimes, while working on your PC, you wish to open, copy or see the content of a file. Then you get the message that tells you you can´t copy it as it is being used by someone else or another application. Thus you have to wait until later to access it and try again. The waste is obvious.

DDCopy solves this problem, letting you use a file that someone else is using. It does this by accessing the files directly from the disc cluster, physically. You can select, copy and see that file.

On-screen you can see, apart from the normal hard drive exploring interface (to select the file you want), a representation of the physical organization of the disc, with its corresponding hexadecimal nomenclature. DDCopy is a very lightweight application of 1MB, intuitive and free.
